The
uniglyph is actually taken from
Typographic Printing Surfaces by Legros and Grant, who certainly
didn’t
intend it as some utopian writing system. ¶Although the uniglyph is probably
not as relevant as its creators might have thought, it still provides
for some interesting insight into the relative importance of different
parts of Latin letterforms.
